The initial round of G-Sync HDR displays is almost here after nearly a class of delays and they look awesome, with a specification sheet that checks virtually every box a monitor wonk could dream of. But there's been a question looming terminated Nvidia's bound-pushing screens: How much will they cost? Now we have it off: The Acer Predator X27 just went up for preorder at Newegg for a unresponsive $2,000, ready to ship on June 1.
That's to a greater extent than about people spend on their entire PC, but it's actually glower than some people expected later on European stores listed G-Sync HDR displays at the equivalent weight of just about $3,000. And while we've notwithstandin to go over the Acer Predator X27, we went eyes-on with it at an Nvidia event a few weeks back, and it made even a luxurious 4K IPS panel sitting following to it, to quote Gordon, "look up to like poo."

The bleeding-edge of technology never comes cheap, and even at $2,000, the Acer Piranha X27 seems credible to make deep-pocketed enthusiasts happy. One caveat: The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, Nvidia's to the highest degree powerful consumer artwork card, doesn't tamp decent firepower to push on 4K at 144Hz in now's flagship games. Here's hoping Nvidia releases new GPUs sooner than later to help early adopters get the most out of these displays.
